Digital inclusion in Whanganui means that people and communities can:
- Get connected – affordable, reliable internet and suitable devices.
- Build confidence using digital technology – skills for health, learning, work, and daily life.
- Stay safe – protect privacy, avoid scams, and manage online risks.
- Find value – see real reasons to stay connected and keep learning.
We focus on those most affected by digital barriers:
- Seniors; Low-income families; Social-housing tenants; Māori and Pasifika rangatahi; Disabled people; Rural households; Jobseekers; Immigrants and refugees; Offenders and ex-offenders.
Every project is checked against our 4R Rule – right focus, right message, right regulator, right outcome – so our mahi stays targeted and fair.
